DAY 1: PICK UP BAGDOGRA TO PHUENTSHOLIN (170km-4hrs)
Meet & Greet on the time of arrival after reaching Phuentsholing from Bagdogra Airport & transfer to Phuentsholing. The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. Phuentsholing is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at Phuentsholing
DAY 2: PHUENTSHOLING TO THIMPHU (172km-6hrs)
On Arrival, Meet & Greet with your Tour Representative from All Ways Tours and Travels, and Proceed for Immigration formalities & transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan & local Sightseeing on the way to Thimphu. On arrival check- in at the hotel & over Night Stay at Thimphu
DAY 3: THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING
Embark on an exciting journey through Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital and the residence of the royal family. Start your day with a visit to Buddha Point and Simply Bhutan, a living museum showcasing traditional Bhutanese life. The view from BBS Tower is stunning and provides a perfect introduction to Thimphu. Explore religious sites like the National Memorial Chorten and the historic Chang Gangkha Monastery. Nature lovers shouldn’t miss the National Zoo with its unique national animal, the takin. Discover Bhutan’s spiritual side at the National Library, and enjoy the local crafts at the Handicraft Market. In the evening, experience the grandeur of TashiChhodzong, the secretariat building and throne room of His Majesty. Spending the night in Thimphu adds to the allure, allowing you to appreciate the city’s charm as day turns to night to halt at Thimphu.
DAY 4: THIMPHU TO PUNAKHA (77km- 3hrs)
This morning we continue on our drive to Punakha, the road winds up from Simtokha Dzong into the pine forest and through small villages for 20 kilometers and then opens miraculously onto the northern ridge of the mountains. The view over the Himalayan panoply at Dochula Pass at 10,500 feet is one of the most spectacular in all Bhutan. Punakha Overnight stay at the Hotel.
DAY 5: PUNAKHA TO PARO (62km-3hrs)
Morning Drive for Local Sight Seeing Visit Ta Dzong, once a fortified lookout tower that is now the National Museum Then walk down the trail to visit the Rinpung Dzong meaning “fortress of the heap of jewels”. Next visit Kichu Lhakhang, the oldest temple in the country. From there you will be taken to the Drugyal Dzong (Bhutan Victory Fort), which was built in 1646 to commemorate Bhutan’s victory over Tibetan invaders during the 1600s. On a clear day you can see Mount Jumolhari, Bhutan’s second-highest mountain at 7,314meters.Evening is free for leisure. Overnight at Paro.
DAY 6: PARO –Excursion to Taksang Monastery Hiking or Chele La Pass
After Breakfast drive to Chele-La-Pass (13,088 ft.) – the highest motor able road in Bhutan. Enjoy the scenic beauty & memorable landscapes from Chele-La-Pass. Back to Paro. Rest of the day is free for leisure. Overnight at Paro.
DAY 7: PARO TO PHUENTSHOLING (170km-6hrs)
After Breakfast check out from hotel and drive back towards Phuentsholing drop and on arrival check in the Hotel and night Halt
DAY 8: PHUENTSHOLING TO BAGDOGRA (170km-6hrs)
After breakfast check out from hotel and Proceed to Bagdogra/ NJP & say goodbye to our Company & lets be on contact with each other in E-Mail/ Facebook/ WhatsApp and meet again on one more memorable tour. See you all…And proceed towards Airport as per Flight schedule “BRAT” Guest will proceed to Airport.
